Join us at Mill on Main on Friday, October 20, for a special evening with Nellie McKay, a singer and songwriter whose performing style is influenced by classic jazz and pop, as well as hints of indie rock. In February 2004, Nellie released her debut album, Get Away, which was nominated for the 2004 Shortlist Music Prize. She has performed on Broadway and collaborated with David Byrne and Fatboy Slim. PAST EVENTS
On Saturday, July 29, Mill on Main hosted Diego Figueiredo, an internationally known Brazilian guitarist, whose music garnered an Emmy nomination. The show opened with Moises Borges, a Brazilian guitarist local to the Cleveland area.
On Friday, April 28, from 7-9 pm, Mill on Main hosted an evening concert with Edie Carey, a talented singer-songwriter from Colorado who has performed with Sara Bareilles, Brandi Carlile, Shawn Colvin and has toured all over the US, Canada and Europe. Edie has won all kinds of songwriting awards and contests. She intersperses her moving songs with hilarious stories, and folks leave her shows feeling as though they’ve spent an evening with a very close friend.
On December 3, 2022, Mill on Main hosted two events: a horn quartet that was part of the Walkin’ in a Winter Oberlin evening celebration, and the Oberlin Community Art Book Fair, a pop-up shop featuring art books, zines, comics, journals, and other artist books.
